I made a round bag!

I have had my eye on this bag for some time since designer Minki Kim release this pattern! I finally got a copy and I wasn’t disappointed! I was able to make a round bag, can you hear the round of applause, lol! I love round bags but was afraid that I couldn’t do it. With her lovely pattern, YouTube how to support video and my fabric collections picked I was off! I haven’t decided if I want to add the leather handles that Minki used in her version of the bag. I am pretty proud of this finished.

I made this on my spring break. Our trip to visit family was canceled due to Covid and I needed something to do that would bring me joy! My go to when things don’t turn out the way I had hoped and I have time on my hands is to make something. I had everything I needed in my fabric and craft hoard to make this without going to the store to buy anything. I think I will use this bag for my epp projects.

We did take a short trip later in the week to the Columbus Zoo. I had a great time. We are vaccinated and picked time of the week where crowds would be smaller and ate at restaurants at odd times to avoid larger crowds just because we aren’t used to getting out! Felt great.

On the way home we stopped at the National Air Force Museum in Dayton. What an amazing place and it has been years since I have been there. Totally worth the visit. I loved the NASA display.

I am going to work on a few projects today as it is the last day of this week off from work . I am not used to all the travel and activity. I am pretty exhausted, lol! I expect today will be handwork

Be creative!
