After getting snowed in with a 4 day blizzard over Christmas with 3 feet of snow, the temperature warmed up and today it is raining. We have lost most of our snow. With the weather on my mind, I have decided to do a temperature based cross stitch project. I am going to stitch a triangle for each day of the year based on the high temperature. I have made temperature quilts before but not a cross stitch. I searched Pinterest for ideas, and I found the triangle idea.
I bought a thread pack from Fat Quarter Shop and I assigned a temperature range a color. I started stitching today. I am really excited about this project. I think it will be easy to keep up with and I have an assortment of colors that I really like.
I have started a craft room declutter project. I am following Just get it done quilt’s blog prompts. I spent this morning jumpstarting the project because I was behind. I felt really good about using my day off doing something to get this house back into ship shape. I am doing 15 min a day to this project as well as house chores. I hope by spring the house will be back in order. I have long Covid, so things got really ignored for the past 6 months.

I did make a bunting and send it to my daughter for her classroom. I am really happy with how it turned out!
My next project to start is going to be making clothes for a Lawn goose that my daughter got for Christmas. She loves this nostalgic trend that is coming back. I ordered a pattern from Esty and I plan to share more about making the clothes for her goose. I wonder if she named it yet?
Here is a video of the pattern I ordered from Glamour Goose:
Happy Creating!
