I bought some new watercolors at Micheal’s to try and then I took a micron pen and doodled over it. I love it. The paint was easy to work with and I used Strathmore watercolor paper. Very nice! Here is what it looked like before the doodles
the testing phase
I also got a Cricut heat press from someone who didn’t want their’s anymore. So, I made a small project using Heat transfer vinyl. I have never used it so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had left over felt circles and I found a design on Cricut design space that I love and I fit it to the circles. I pressed it on the felt and my wool mat was perfect for this. Magically these little appliques were made in an afternoon. I am going to put one on my journal. I also have more projects coming and I plan to use them! I think htv is my newest favorite thing for Cricut projects !
Lastly , I cast on a lovely yarn to make a wrap on my knitting needles. I will show more and post the free pattern once I get a little further in the project. I am loving the zen feeling of stockinette stitch but I am the worlds slowest knitter!
